System requirements

Make sure your system meets the requirements below before you install the Aspect Model Editor.

Screen resolution

For a comfortable working experience, we recommend a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel. The Aspect Model Editor is not designed for mobile devices.

Windows

To use the Aspect Model Editor on Windows, you need:

  • 64-bit based laptop or PC

    • You can check this from the Windows Start button → System information → System Type → Expected: x64-based PC

  • Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, or later

  • An Intel Pentium 4 processor or faster that is SSE3-capable

Servers require Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, or Windows Server 2016.

Mac

To use the Aspect Model Editor on Mac, you need:

  • OS X El Capitan 10.11 or later

The Aspect Model Editor is currently not notarized or signed with an Apple Developer certificate, see Current limitations on macOS.

Linux

To use the Aspect Model Editor on Linux, you need:

  • 64-bit Ubuntu 20.04+, Debian 10+, openSUSE 15.2+, or Fedora Linux 32+

  • An Intel Pentium 4 processor or faster that is SSE3-capable
